About the role

A Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing technical aspects of cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and electrophysiology. The position requires a strong understanding of EKG readings.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical aspects of cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and electrophysiology
• Read and interpret EKG readouts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Sonography or related field
• Current certification as a Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
