About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist II with 5+ years of experience and ARRT and RCIS certification for a high-volume cath lab in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/27/2026, with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab with 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR
- All procedure rooms have been upgraded within the last 1-5 years
- 12-bay peri-procedural space available for patient prep and recovery
- Lab averages over 30 cases per day
- Case types range from outpatient right heart catheterization and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
- Epic is the primary charting system, with hemodynamic measurements performed on the Siemens Sensis system
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts
- On-call responsibilities may include weeknight, weekend, and holiday call, though no weekend or holiday shifts are worked
- Over a 13-week contract, candidates can expect 1-3 weeknight calls total and possibly one weekend call
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required
- 2+ years of experience as a Rad Tech required
- 1+ years of travel assignment experience required
- ARRT and RCIS certification required
- ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- License required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be eligible for local candidate consideration

- Promote a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel
