Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $3,502 per week

Description

Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab performing cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures.
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call
40 hours per week

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of recent cath lab experience, preferably in a high-volume lab
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; Associate's degree in Radiology or related field required
  • Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred but not required
  • Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License required if applicable
  • Demonstrated experience scrubbing and operating imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiography, stenting, angioplasty, thrombectomy, IVUS, OCT, IFR/FFR, peripheral interventions, IABP, Impella, laser, lithotripsy, and temporary pacemaker implantation
Assist with implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICDs
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure device management
Manage procedural complications including air emboli, stroke, anaphylactic reactions, and cardiac tamponade
Apply radiation safety principles including ALARA standards for patients, co-workers, and self
Perform and document quality control checks
Experience with multiple cath lab documentation and imaging systems is preferred
Previous travel healthcare experience is preferred
