Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $3,446 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Assists the circulating RN with assessment and implementation of care for cardiac cath lab patients, including recognizing drugs and lab values that may contraindicate procedures
• Responsible for safe operation of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment, including setup and first-line assist to the physician while maintaining sterile technique
• Documents procedural information, patient demographics, and continuously monitors and analyzes hemodynamic data
• Maintains radiation safety in accordance with code of practice guidelines and adheres to radiation protection protocols for both patients and personnel
• Accurately calculates valve areas and shunts, and assists in the management of emergency situations

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required
• Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Course required
• Current registration in the state of Kentucky required (license required if applicable)
• 1 year of invasive vascular experience preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined
