About the role
Medlivo is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Marquette, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac procedures including coronary angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, right and left heart catheterizations, CTO procedures, IABP, IVUS, WaveWire/FFR, thrombolysis, venography, structural heart procedures, peripheral interventions, thoracic procedures, PE interventions, emergency procedures, and contrast administration.
- Administer EP studies.
- Manage adult and geriatric patient populations using an EMR system.
- Operate and merge equipment in a Cath Lab Suite.
- Participate in on-call coverage with variable shift start times (7:00 AM or 8:00 AM).
- Attend weekend calls as required.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Cath Lab experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided on some advanced procedures.
- Experience with cardiac procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, right and left heart catheterizations, CTO procedures, IABP, IVUS, WaveWire/FFR, thrombolysis, venography, structural heart procedures, peripheral interventions, thoracic procedures, PE interventions, emergency procedures, and contrast administration is preferred.
- EP studies experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of common patient diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and coronary artery disease is beneficial.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 1 year of relevant Cath Lab experience preferred.

- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Ability to operate and merge equipment in a Cath Lab Suite.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Variable day shifts (start times 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM), 40 hours per week.
