Job Summary

A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist is needed in an outpatient setting located in Schenectady, NY. The role involves assisting cardiologists with electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker and AICD implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and electrophysiology studies and ablations. The position requires sitting mainly in the electrophysiology (EP) lab, with the schedule primarily during daytime hours on a Monday through Friday basis.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with variability between Monday and Friday; no call or weekend requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting, with electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
  • RTO approval required for any leave
  • Orientation is every Monday

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sitting mainly in the electrophysiology (EP) lab
  • Familiarity with electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker and AICD implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and ablations
  • Float rotation may be required

Additional Information

Under minimal supervision, responsibilities include scrubbing utilizing sterile technique and assisting cardiologists during electrophysiology procedures. Qualifications must be verified before submission.
