About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and an active MA license to support hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac stimulator procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM). Minimum on-call requirement of one night per week (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 48 hours). Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and have no employment with this healthcare system in the past 6 months. All requested time off must be submitted and approved at the time of consideration.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, cardiac stimulators, and CEID programmers using sterile technique
- Report to the Technical Director
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- Active MA license required if applicable
- Knowledge of sterile technique
- Experience operating radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- On-call: one night per week (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 48 hours)
- Orientation occurs twice a month
