About the role
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist position available in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role involves performing diagnostic and occasional interventional procedures, including vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube insertions. The position requires collaboration within a cath lab team to support adult patient care in a high-desert environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tube insertions
- Collaborate with the cath lab team to support adult patient care
- Cover cath lab, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and tilt studies
- Occasional IR procedures and on-call duties (12 days)
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
- Minimum 0 years of experience (2 years preferred)
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Familiarity with manifold, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Ability to work as a team player
Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
- On-call required for 12 days
