About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
- Operate and monitor equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
