About the role
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in the CCL TECH specialty is sought for a position at a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures, supporting patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The technologist will be responsible for scrub and monitor duties within the laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Assist in interventional cardiology, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Scrub and monitor during cases
- Operate EMR systems such as EPIC and Merge
- Willingness to float to other procedural areas based on census
- On-call services available 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI
- Minimum two years' experience in the Cath Lab
Schedule
- Days shift; 10 hours per shift
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Shifts scheduled as 4x10's or 5x8's with call
- Orientation includes three shifts
- Scrubs provided
