Job Description
Cath Lab Technologist position available for 13 weeks starting ASAP at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Denver, Colorado. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates from Monday to Friday. Specialties include Cath Lab Technologist, Allied Health Professional, and includes BLS & ACLS, ARRT (R), RCIS or RCES certifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
- BLS & ACLS certification
- ARRT (R) or RCIS/RCES certification
- Fluoroscopy operator registration with DORA in Colorado
- ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
- EP Scrubbing experience
- Prior Meditech experience

The Cath Lab Technologist works in a 272-bed hospital with two catheterization suites equipped with Philips equipment. The unit operates on a 24/7 schedule with a mix of day and night shifts. The position involves basic cath lab skills, scrubbing, and monitoring, as well as conscious and moderate sedation procedures. The ideal candidate should be a go-getter, a team player, and have excellent communication skills to manage stressful situations.

Number of beds: 272
Number of staff: 5 techs, 6 RNs
Day shift staffing: 3-5 techs, 2-4 RNs
Night shift staffing: On-call
Patient ratios: Not applicable
Equipment: Two suites with Philips equipment
EMR: Meditech and Mac
Typical procedures: Basic cath lab skills, scrubbing, and monitoring; conscious and moderate sedation procedures
