Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $3,110 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
• Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab
• Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification
• State specific licensing when required
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (CT) certifications

Qualifications

The Cath Lab Rad must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.

Skills

Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory, scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters, obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data, and operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
