Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role involves providing specialized support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, assisting with all EP (Electrophysiology) procedures, monitoring cases, and documenting clinical data. The position requires working in a fast-paced acute care environment with rotating shifts.
Shift & Schedule
- Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, with schedules that may include days, afternoons, evenings, and on-call hours
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, either from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or 9:00 am to 7:30 pm
- On-call, holiday, and weekend coverage from 4:30 pm to 6:00 am
Required Qualifications
- BLS, ACLS, WVRT license, ARRT (R) / ARRT (CI) / ARRT (VI)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver's license outside 50 miles from the facility
- Certification as a Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist
- Licensure verification required for submission
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Impella, IABP, INARI, electrophysiology procedures, PVC, PT, Cryo or transeptal ablations, Laser lead extractions, device work, EP recording systems
- Hands-on experience with Toshiba, Carto, and Abbott equipment
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing and assisting with EP procedures
- Monitoring and circulating cases
- Managing stock rooms
- Documenting procedures accurately using EPIC charting system
- Using EP recording systems effectively
