About the role

A hospital in Virginia is looking for an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have two years' experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS and RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
• Monitor patient vitals and adjust settings accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians during procedures
• Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed

Requirements

• Two years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Active BLS, ACLS and RCIS certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current registration as a Registered Cardiographic Technician (RCC) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Skills

• Proficient in operating cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations
