Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a travel contract in the South Denver area. The position requires a minimum of 6 months of acute care Cath Lab experience along with ARRT, RCIS or RCES, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The assignment is at a 272-bed hospital with 2 Cath suites staffed by 5 Techs and 6 RNs. Phillips equipment is used in both suites. EMR systems include Meditech and Mac Lab. Day shift staffed by 3–5 Techs and 2–4 RNs; night shift is on-call.

The on-call requirement is approximately 7–8 days per month, including one weekend per month. Rotating nights of call and weekends are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience within the last 6 months
  • Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
  • ARRT (R) required
  • RCIS or RCES required
  • Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting
  • ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
  • EP scrubbing experience preferred
  • Prior Meditech experience preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible. No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months.

The facility is located in the South Denver area, with nearby communities including Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Castle Rock — all within a 30-minute call response range.
