Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a 295-bed acute care facility located in Somerset, Kentucky, serving an 11-county service area in south central Kentucky. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services including cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the catheterization laboratory under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and coordination of patient transport.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Registered Cath Lab Technologist (RCCLT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal training program in cath lab technology.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Pay

The pay rate is $54 per hour, subject to confirmation.

Schedule

The shift is 8 hours, days, with an orientation that is weekly, on Mondays.
