About the role
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in a healthcare organization. This position involves working in a cath lab environment, performing specialized procedures related to cardiac catheterization. The role requires technical proficiency in cardiac procedures and the ability to support patient care during complex interventions.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized procedures related to cardiac catheterization
- Support patient care during complex cardiac interventions
- Manage approximately 12 weeknights per week for call
- Be available approximately one weekend per month or as needed
- Handle holiday call as required by department needs and contract period
Requirements
- Certifications in Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential
- At least 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Valid licensure as applicable
- Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with coronary interventions and fluoroscopy equipment
- Ability to handle emergent situations efficiently
Schedule
- Days shift: 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week minimum
