About the role

As a Special Procedures Technologist within our Interventional Radiology Lab at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix, you will be integral part of the team. We are proud to be Magnet facility, Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our Interventional Radiology Lab specializes in venous, arterial, and non-endovascular procedures including angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, neuro coiling, stroke thrombectomy, embolization of bleeds, Y-90 for liver cancer, ablations, and line placements for chemotherapy and hemodialysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Interventionalist Physicians who have been here for over 10 years.
• Perform a variety of special procedures under the supervision of the Interventionalist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the lab.
• Document procedures accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Special Procedures Technologist program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in a high-acuity setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
