About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Brownsville, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Perform heart catheterizations, interventions, pacemakers, AICDs, Watchman, EP ablations on patients with 1:1 patient ratios.
- Operate IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, Ultrasound equipment.
- Utilize Meditech EMR system.
- Work in two cath labs with a team of 2 monitor techs, 2 RNS, 2 techs, 1 manager, 1 director, 4 techs, 2 RNs, and 1-3 sitters.
- Work shifts including day shift and every other weekend and night on call.
- Respond to callbacks within 30 minutes.
Requirements
- Must have IABP Impella experience and Interventional Cath Perpherial/Coronary experience.
- EP experience is preferred but not required.
- Perform typical procedures such as heart catheterizations, interventions, pacemakers, AICDs, Watchman, EP ablations.
- Be able to work in multiple areas including IR, ICU if competent, and pre/post PACU cath.
Qualifications
- Must hold an ACLS and RCIS certification.
Skills
- Must have IABP Impella experience and Interventional Cath Perpherial/Coronary experience.
- EP experience is preferred but not required.
