Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,885 per week
About the role
Hospital in Gulfport, MS seeks Cath/IR Tech to work a 13 week contract. Tech should have BLS and either ARRT or RCIS. Procedures are both Cath and IR. This is for ten hour day shifts with call 1 or 2 days per week and every 4th weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
- Operate equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT or RCIS certification (preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited technologist program
- Current registration as a technologist in the state of practice
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
