Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,885 per week
About the role
Hospital in Gulfport, MS seeks Cath/IR Tech to work a 13 week contract. Tech should have BLS and either ARRT or RCIS. Procedures are both Cath and IR. This is for ten hour day shifts with call 1 or 2 days per week and every 4th weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning
- Operate equipment and instruments used in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ARRT or RCIS certification (preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited technologist program
- Current state licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent
Skills
- Proficiency with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
