Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory under the supervision of a cardiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures, including obtaining informed consent and performing pre-procedure assessments.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Document patient data accurately and promptly, including vital signs, procedure details, and post-procedure observations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the continuity of patient care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be willing to relocate to Lewiston, Idaho.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
