About the role
Provide specialized technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including arteriograms, catheterizations, and implantations. Assist physicians, handle equipment, and monitor patient safety throughout procedures in a fast‑paced cath lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures
- Prepare sterile fields
- Monitor ECG and vital signs
- Transport patients
- Maintain documentation per regulatory standards
- Manage inventory
- Ensure safety and compliance with radiation regulations
- Handle IABP and IMPELLA procedures professionally
Requirements
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA only), BLS (AHA only), RCIS or ARRT (R) & Texas MRT
- Education: Relevant technical or vocational training in cardiovascular or radiologic technology
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular or invasive lab setting
- Location: Must be able to work in Rowlett, TX
