About the role
This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist working in a multimodality laboratory in Cedar Park, Texas that includes catheterization and interventional radiology services. The role involves assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system, with responsibilities including vitals monitoring, predictive care, maintaining aseptic technique, and instructing patients on post-procedure care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures
- Provide predictive care and maintain aseptic technique
- Instruct patients on post-procedure care
- Support a multidisciplinary lab environment including catheterization and vascular services
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or an associate's/technical degree or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) certification obtained within 1 month of hire or transfer date
- One of the following credentials obtained prior to hire or transfer date:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI)
- Cardiographic Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (CCI)
- Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) specializing in Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography, or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
- Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications preferred
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
