Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,680 per week
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist for a full-time travel position in San Marcos, Texas. This role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique, proper documentation, and equipment setup. The technologist serves as a resource for advanced procedures and collaborates closely with the procedure team to promote patient safety and departmental efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Ensure sterile technique and proper documentation
- Set up and maintain specialized equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and LVADs
- Collaborate with the procedure team to promote patient safety and departmental efficiency
- Support departmental processes, infection control, and quality documentation

Requirements
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or a healthcare-related field
- 0 years of experience required
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA)
- Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA)
- One of the following certifications:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by CCI
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by CCI
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI
- Radiography (R) by ARRT
- Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) by ARRT
- Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT
- Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT
- Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
- Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in diagnostic, interventional radiology, or cath/EP lab procedures
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
