About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Virginia. This position offers 36 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist with patient care and monitoring during procedures
• Operate and maintain medical equipment
• Document patient care activities accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Requirements

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Cath lab experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience with relevant medical equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
