About the role
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is based in an advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory within a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placements, and other complex interventions. Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks (09/07/2026 – 12/07/2026)
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, Shockwave, IFR, IVUS, Roto, and IABP
- Access and manage ports
- Perform rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
- Float within similar units as needed after brief orientation
Requirements
- ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- CCI (Cardiac Catheterization Interventional Specialist) certification
- Kansas license (if ARRT-certified)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Dual experience in catheterization and interventional radiology
- Familiarity with Cannon and Siemens lab equipment
