About the role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is based in an advanced cardiac catheterization laboratory within a healthcare facility. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placements, and other complex interventions. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with relevant skills and a flexible schedule to contribute to patient care excellence.

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shifts
  • 40 hours per week
  • Assignment duration: 13 weeks (09/07/2026 – 12/07/2026)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, Shockwave, IFR, IVUS, Roto, and IABP
  • Access and manage ports
  • Perform rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Float within similar units as needed after brief orientation

Requirements

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • CCI (Cardiac Catheterization Interventional Specialist) certification
  • Kansas license (if ARRT-certified)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cath lab setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dual experience in catheterization and interventional radiology
  • Familiarity with Cannon and Siemens lab equipment
