About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms
- Prep patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
- Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- ACLS, BLS, CCI (RCIS), 2 Years * Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification
- State specific licensing when required
Skills
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
