Certifications and Licensure
- Techs: RCIS, RCES, RT(R), ACLS, BLS
- RNs: RN license, ACLS, BLS
Skills and Experience Specific to the Role
- Techs: Scrub and monitor cath lab and/or EP procedures
- RNs: Monitor and circulate cath lab and/or EP Procedures
- Advanced skills: BLS and ACLS; Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
Procedures Knowledge
- Cath Lab Procedures: Diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra
- EP Lab Procedures: EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations, micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions including laser lead extractions
