About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level III trauma teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a scrub role
  • Monitor cases as needed
  • Work in a 1st floor Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 procedure rooms
  • Serve an adult and geriatric patient population
  • Participate in a 3-person team per case
  • Use Philips/McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo and Maquet equipment
  • Utilize Paragon EHR system for patient records
  • Work 4x10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Receive 7 shifts per 2-week pay period with standby included
  • Occasionally work variable on-call weekend hours
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • RT or CVIS certification, or RCIS eligibility for CVIS license in WA
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Associate's degree minimum required
  • Proficiency in scrub role required; monitoring role experience preferred
  • Experience with CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • License required if applicable
  • SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Qualifications

  • Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible

Skills

  • Scrub role proficiency
  • Moderate monitoring experience preferred
  • Experience with CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures

Benefits

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
