About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 8-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient data accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in a catheterization laboratory setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
