About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Crestview, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and equipment setup.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment used in the cath lab.
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Florida.
- Experience in performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment used in the cath lab.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
