Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,351 per week
About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 16-week assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. The position requires 40 hours per week and operates on a 16-hour shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
- Prepping patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
- One year of experience.
- ARRT, BLS, ACLS, CCI, 2 Years certification.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Skills
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Ability to scrub in during procedures.
- Ability to assist physicians in maneuvering catheters.
- Ability to monitor patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Ability to participate in life-saving measures.
Benefits
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
