Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - $2,144 per week

About the role

The hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to monitor, circulate, and be prepared to take call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and prepare equipment
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as directed
• Circulate between procedures as needed
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with post-procedure care
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Texas
• Experience in a cardiac cath lab setting preferred
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Proficiency in operating cardiac cath lab equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
