About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Sanford, Florida. This position offers 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts, and operates Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment and record images accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
- Document patient care activities and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and regulations
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Perform routine maintenance on medical equipment and report malfunctions to supervisors
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized training program in Cath Lab Technology
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams

Pay

Schedule
This position operates 9 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with occasional late stays and no weekend or on-call responsibilities. Floating policy allows the possibility of floating to the holding area, cath lab, or other areas within the scope of practice.
