Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician - $3,286 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in McAllen, Texas, working 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with call requirements including one weekday per week and one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

Works in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures, including structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral vascular interventions. Performs both scrub and monitoring duties utilizing catheterization and radiology imaging equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital setting
• RCIS or RAD certification required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Ability to scrub and pan peripheral and diagnostic procedures
• US SSN required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Active license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Date of birth required for consideration

Qualifications

Experience in additional specialties beyond cath lab is a plus. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position. Strong ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities is required. Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
