Travel - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

About the role

Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech position for a 13‑week assignment. Day shift: 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 12×3 schedule (36 hours per week). Includes participation in weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required by department needs.

Responsibilities

• Scrub electrophysiology procedures: ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).
• Scrub cardiac catheterization procedures: diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and support mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).
• Assist with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
• Support neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions.
• Scrub structural heart procedures: TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman (preferred).
• Work with advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies: ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping systems, and mechanical circulatory support devices (preferred).

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI.

Skills

• Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, and structural heart procedures.
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment.
• Expertise in radial/femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
• Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies: ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping, and mechanical circulatory support devices.

Pay

Estimated weekly gross pay: $3,065 per week (based on qualifications and experience; applies to travel positions >50 miles from permanent address).

Schedule
