About the role
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 3+ years of Cardiac/Peripheral Cath experience and ARRT or RCIS certification for a facility recognized with an American College of Cardiology Platinum designation. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Dothan, Alabama, starting September 14, 2026.
Details
- Cath Lab setting with 4 total labs: 2 interventional, 1 EP, and 1 Hybrid OR
- Program performs TAVR, EVAR, EP, IC, and Vascular procedures; Watchman program beginning soon
- 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Potential to transition to 4x10-hour shifts
- Includes call responsibilities
- Work alongside a long-tenured core team including a director with 41 years at the facility
- Join a growing cardiac program that has expanded 30% year over year for 18 consecutive months
- New EP physician joining the team soon
Responsibilities
- Assist with performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab under direction of Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services
- Scrub procedures
- Operate x-ray equipment
- Monitor patients
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or relevant certification required
- 3+ years of experience in Cardiac/Peripheral Cath preferred
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- First-time travelers may be considered
