About the Role

Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join a growing team in a state-of-the-art facility. The program is led by a director with 41 years of tenure and a mix of long-standing and newly recruited RNs and RTs. The hospital operates four labs (two interventional, one EP, and one Hybrid OR) and has seen 30% year-over-year growth for 18 consecutive months. The facility is the only hospital in Alabama with a Platinum designation from the American College of Cardiology and has earned straight A status from Leapfrog for five consecutive quarters.

The program performs TAVR, EVAR, EP, IC, Vascular procedures, and will launch a Watchmen program in October. Flowers Hospital is a 235-bed facility serving as a major referral center for the Tri-State area of south Alabama, southwest Georgia, and northwest Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab under the direction of a Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and judgment in scrubbing, X-ray, and monitoring during procedures.
• Perform studies in a timely manner.

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT or RCIS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cardiac/Peripheral Cath (preferred).
• Ability to scrub, operate X-ray equipment, and monitor patients.

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/24/2026 (ASAP preferred).
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (5x8s Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM plus call).
• Potential to transition to 4x10s.
