About the role

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Travel position in the Cardiac Cath Lab at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge, Thornton, CO
• Unit: 3 holding bays, 2 Cath/suites, 9 staff members on day shift (6:45 AM–4:15 PM CVL, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM pre-post)
• Patient ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient
• Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Perform typical Cath Lab procedures: LHC, RHC, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt-table tests, dobutamine stress tests
• Share on-call responsibilities evenly with the team (8–12 days per 4-week schedule, including one weekend)
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months’ current acute-care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R) plus either RCIS or RCES; must be willing and able to register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before starting

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (CI) or (CV)
• Holding and monitoring experience
