About the role

Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.

Qualifications

Must be eligible for licensure/certification in the state of Missouri.

Skills

• Strong technical skills in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
