Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN - $2,935 per week

About the role

This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as executing delegated medical functions in a fast-paced clinical environment, primarily within the cardiac catheterization lab setting.

Schedule

• Days shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required)
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be preferred depending on the unit or service

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred

Responsibilities

• Performing health teaching and counseling
• Providing supportive and restorative therapy and treatment
• Participating in health data collection
• Referring patients for further evaluation or treatment
• Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May be required to float to other departments based on business needs
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts
