Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN - $2,917 per week

About the role

The position is a 13-week contract in the Cardiac Cath Lab at a facility in Rochester, New York. The schedule is 36 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 4x10 to 3x12 hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath lab settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain and monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Administer medications as per protocols.
• Aid with various cardiac interventions and diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Training in moderate sedation and dysrhythmia telemetry.
• NY RN License is required.
• Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen procedures.
• Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, and LVADs.
• Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVADs).
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, ASA).
• Critical care or cardiac experience is required.

Qualifications

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
