MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Marquette, Michigan. As a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, MedPro places nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide and offers the MedPro Experience®.

Responsibilities

• Performs angioplasties, implants pacemakers and diagnoses cardiac conditions with an invasive catheterization procedure.
• Administers care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identifies blockages, assists the physician during procedures, and monitors the patient’s status at other times.
• Administers interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Cath Lab setting
