Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN - $2,716 per week

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week contract position in Albany, Georgia.

About the Role

Join a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures with a highly experienced cardiovascular team. The lab operates four procedure rooms: two Cardiac Cath Labs, one Interventional Radiology (IR), and one Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, averaging 15–20 cases per day. The EMR system is Meditech with a GE Mac-Lab recording system. RNs circulate while RCIS/RT staff perform scrubbing and monitoring. No floating is required.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in a high-volume Cath Lab environment with quick case turnover.
• Assist with both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a highly experienced cardiovascular team.
• Respond to call within a 30-minute timeframe (1–2 weekdays per week and every 4th weekend).
• Participate in holiday call rotations with permanent staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience.
• No first-time travelers.
• Active RN License.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab experience required.
• Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience required.
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred.
• Driver’s license showing permanent address must be included with submission.

Schedule

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM).
• 13-week contract starting 08/30/2026.
• Call: 1–2 weekdays per week and every 4th weekend.
• Rotating weekday off and a 4-day weekend every 5th weekend.
• Unit-specific orientation lasts 1–2 weeks.
• 75-mile radius rule strictly enforced.
