About the Role
Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN position in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, offering 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) consisting of 4 × 10-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Circulating cardiac cath and structural cases
- Operating and managing cath lab equipment and procedures
- Administering moderate sedation
- Scrubbing/assisting the physician and monitoring cases (preferred)
- Handling standard cardiac cath and structural procedures
- Floating to EP Lab as needed
- Taking 10–14 call shifts per month (typically 10–12)
- Charting in Merge/Meditech systems
- Adhering to unit protocols in a 2-procedure-bed lab with a 3-person team and 4-person call team
Requirements
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- RCIS or CVRN certification (preferred)
- Experience with circulating cardiac cath and structural cases
- Familiarity with cath lab equipment and procedures, including moderate sedation
- Preferred experience with scrubbing/assisting physicians and monitoring cases
- Experience with equipment from Boston Scientific, Abbott, Medtronic, Terumo, Abiomed, etc.
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM–5:30 PM)
- 13-week contract starting August 31, 2026
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- 10–14 call shifts per month (typically 10–12)
