About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath/EP Technologist with active ARRT certification and experience in cardiac cath, EP, TAVR, and left atrial appendage closure procedures for a 13-week day shift contract in Janesville, Wisconsin. This position is in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology setting within a hospital environment.

Schedule

• 13-week contract, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 4x10 hours (Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM)
• One to two weeknight call shifts per week, with call every fourth weekend
• Start Date: August 3, 2026

Responsibilities

• Verify sterile supply integrity and prepare patients and equipment using sterile technique
• Manage post-procedure sterilization of equipment and supplies
• Document and monitor all procedural data, maintain procedural event logs, and record fluoroscopy time and radiation doses
• Apply patient monitors, prepare access sites with sterile draping, and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
• Advocate for radiation safety for self, patients, and coworkers; wear a personal radiation dosimeter and take appropriate precautions to minimize exposure

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program; education verification required
• Active ARRT and ARRT(R) certification
• Cardiovascular Technologist registration required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License
• Experience in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, TAVR, and left atrial appendage closure procedures
