About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 15-week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with electrophysiology studies as needed.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
- Document patient care activities and procedures accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab or related environment.
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA, recommended and may be required.
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS credentials per your discipline, specialty-related certifications preferred and may be required.
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Proficiency in operating cardiac cath lab equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
