About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 20-week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patients for procedures by explaining procedure processes, answering patient questions and coordinating schedule issues.
- Performs scans, reviews findings to determine appropriate tests and recommends alternative scan sites.
- Oversees lab operation and maintenance of densitometer, computer equipment and patient records.
- Captures scans using the knowledge and performance of systematic deviations from established clinical protocols.
- Ensures the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory; maintains stocks and supplies.
