Travel Angiographer - $3,031 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel position with a 40-hour workweek, 10-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for an IR Technologist with 1 year of recent acute care experience and the ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, while ensuring patient safety and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to minimize patient and operator exposure.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology to accurately interpret examination requests and identify abnormalities.
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing where required.
• Vascular Interventional (VI) certificate preferred.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including a tax-free stipend (amount to be determined).
